Elder Matt Dial

Hello everyone,

Dad, Hahahaha I just laughed out loud in the library when i read you were going to be bishop; it’s really awesome. You’ll be great! This week was a good one. Elder McGill decided absolutely LAST SECOND to extend, texted President Smart, and asked if he could extend. President Smart had to pull some strings, but they allowed him to extend a month. He was very excited.

I finally received that package from Christmas Eve. Ya know, the one with he sunshine ring (huge sweet roll) in it? It was absolutely disgusting. It was all kinds of greens yellows and blacks. The worst part, the bag was open when I opened the package! It made the whole mission office smell HORRIBLE. Thanks for the family calendar and money though.

There’s nothing really to report this week other than we had Enrique Maya's presence grace us a church on Sunday. He is an inactive, member. He was baptized in Anaheim in 1996. Was completely active, and moved to Mexico and never transferred his records, and got lost. He moved back to Riverside and tried to go to church but went to the English ward and nobody told him where or when the Spanish ward started. Stupid people. So he kind of just deactivated and lost interest. He has a 15 yr old boy Eric who's super tight and will get baptized fairly soon I think. Also we found another lessactive member who got offended in Mexico and stopped coming to church. What is it with Spanish people and getting offended at church so easily? It's ridiculous. That's all for this week.
